New pop-up Malibu beach bar coming to Great Northern Square in Manchester

A new pop-up beach bar is coming to Manchester city centre in time for summer.

The Malibu Beach Club will be Great Northern Square from 5 May, in time for the King’s bank holiday weekend, until the end of September. Organisers have promised to create an authentic holiday vibe with palm trees, colourful deck chairs, live DJs, frozen cocktails, and a Malibu inspired shot menu.

There will also be a covered heated terrace for days when the weather is less than sunny. The bar is in collaboration with retro games bar Pong & Puck on Deansgate and will offer a happy hour from Sunday to Thursday from 5-7pm. There will also be pizzas, and bottomless brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
