Manchester Marathon 2024 results including Men’s, Women’s and Wheelchair races

A record 32,000 people took part in the Manchester Marathon this year with an estimated 125,000 lining the streets to cheer the runners on.

Participants in the Elite races set off from around 9am with staggered start times all the way through to 11.10am. As with previous years, the route started and ended in Trafford.

Participants set off underneath Trafford Arch at White City Circle, making their way past Old Trafford before heading to the city centre via Chorlton and Hulme. Runners then headed towards Stretford, passing through Sale before turning off before Timperley and reaching Altrincham at around the 16-mile mark. The final leg of the route took runners through Chorlton, with Talbot Road leading the way to the finish line.
