The Manchester Flower Show 2022 takes place over the Jubilee weekend and is set to once again showcase some of the finest areas of the city.

With a host of events planned, you’ll be sure to find something to take your interest in at this year’s show.

Ahead of the start of the show, here’s all you need to know about where the show takes place, when events will happen, and how you can attend.

What is the Manchester Flower Show?

One of the Manchester Business Improvement District’s major events of the year, the flower show is a celebration of flowers and the city of Manchester.

Floral displays and themes will be visible throughout the city, and many different events to mark the show will take place.

When is the Manchester Flower Show 2022?

The 2022 show will take place across the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend, with events taking place from Thursday 2 June and Sunday 5 June.

Amongst the events for the four day floral celebration is a main stage which will showcase performances for all ages.

The stage is located in Exchange Square and performances will take place across all four days.

Below is the schedule for the main stage at the 2022 show.

Thursday 2 June

10am – 11am: Flower Show Kids Time

11am – 12pm: TALK: Learn About the New Castlefield Viaduct Sky Garden with National Trust

12pm-3pm: LIVE MUSIC: Ada Grace Francis

3pm-5pm: LIVE MUSIC Calaita Flamenco Sun

5pm-7pm: DJ: Kiss Me Again

Friday 3 June

10am – 11am: Flower Show Kids Time

11am-12pm: TALK: Creating a Garden Inspired by Derek Jarman with Manchester Art Gallery and LGBT Foundation

Other stand out events at the show include a craft market, a cocktail train, a sunflower meadow display and the Blossoming Big Red Bus display.

The NOMA estate in Manchester City Centre will host the Sunflower Meadow Display, with hundreds of sunflowers set to line the embankment.

Which Fringe Displays will be at the show?

The 2022 show will also have several fringe displays for you to visit and enjoy.

Some of these include the hidden oasis of Deansgate Mews, the garden at Derek Jarman Pocket Park, and a floral display at Manchester Science and Industry Museum.
