Free events for Halloween in Manchester this weekend: 30 & 31 October & where to spot all inflatable monsters

How many have you spotted? Manchester’s huge inflatable monsters are bringing some colourful spooky fun to the city centre this week as part of a series of free Halloween in the City events organised by Manchester Business Improvement District (BID).
Other free activities on this weekend (30 and 31 October) is the Monsters Welcome Procession, a free street theatre performance withrocession of monster puppets and stilt walkers, alongside a five-piece band. Catch them outside the Arndale and on Market Street on Saturday at 1pm, 3pm and 4pm, and Sunday at 12pm, 1pm and 3pm.

Hide AdHead to St Ann’s Square to meet mad-for-it scientist, Dr. Mancenstein at his spooky castle and grab a few scary selfies, from 10am to 6pm all weekend.
Or build your own monster at Monster Lab crafts drop-in sessions at Exchange Square all weekend, with a ‘slime school’ at 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm each day.
