A daytime nightclub event aimed at the over 30s is returning to Manchester in May. This follows a sell-out during its first visit to Manchester on Saturday.

The events, called ‘Day Fever’, have taken place in towns and cities across the country and have sold generally sold out in double-quick time with this second date in the city expected to be no different.

Created by Line of Duty actor Vicky McClure and her producer husband Jonny Owen, ‘Day Fever’ is a playful joke on the Bee Gee’s hit ‘Night Fever’. The events are specially designed so that music lovers can enjoy a full day of music and be back home not too late, with the Manchester session at New Century Hall set to run from 3pm to 8pm on Sunday May 5.

The event is set to be a true nostalgic experience, with TV shows, films and adverts shown on big screens during the afternoon and evening. Those attending are encouraged to dress smartly as they did during their clubbing days.

How to get tickets to Day Fever in Manchester

Tickets are on sale for the Manchester event over May bank holiday weekend. These will cost you £12.06 each and can be bought through the Day Fever website.
