Manchester band Courteeners announced as Lytham Festival 2024 headliner – how to get tickets

Manchester band the Courteeners have been announced as the first headliners of this year’s Lytham Festival in Lancashire. 

The festival will take place over five nights, from Wednesday 3 July to Sunday 7 July, in Lytham St Anne’s on the banks of the Ribble Estuary.

Courteeners will be performing on Friday 5 July, supported by 2000s indie stars The Kooks and emerging artist Nieve Ella. This will be the Courteener’s only northern show this summer.

The rest of the festival’s lineup is due to be announced at 8am on Monday 27 November

Speaking about the announcement, frontman Liam Fray said: “We are very much looking forward to making our debut and joining the illustrious list of acts that have performed at the Lytham festival.

Lytham Festival co-founder Peter Taylor added: “Courteeners are without a doubt one of the country’s biggest and best-loved bands. This is an exclusive performance for the North of England so if you want to see them next summer you need to head to Lytham Festival.”

The festival has grown from a one night community event into a five-day festival, visited by tens of thousands of people each year and big-name headliners including Kylie, Lewis Capaldi, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Madness, Rod Stewart, Stereophonics, The Strokes, Tom Jones

How to get tickets

Tickets will go on sale at 9:30am on Friday 24 November. They will be available to buy via Ticketmaster. More information can be found on the Lytham Festival website.
