Britain’s Got Talent is returning to Manchester in the hunt for the next Susan Boyle or Diversity.

The popular ITV1 show is bringing its auditions to Manchester for the first time in three years, as they search for the next original entertainer to claim the series’ 2023 crown.

The talent show is hosting open auditions in Manchester where the public are invited to present their unique talents in person.

How to audition for Britain’s Got Talent 2023

The show is open to any performer of any age with any talent – the show producers say all you need is ‘a skill and star quality which you think will impress us’ and anything goes from magicians to comedians, drag acts to singers and acrobats to animal acts.

To apply, you can register online in advance at the BGT website here or simply turn up on the day.

Open auditions will take place at Manchester Central Convention Complex on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 November from 10am to 5pm.

Successful acts could be in with the chance of performing in front of the BGT judges and be crowned the 2023 Britain’s Got Talent champion – walking away with a coveted spot at the Royal Variety performance - and a £250,000 cash prize.

Britain’s Got Talent winners

Britain’s Got Talent has made successes out of a wide range of acts who claimed the crown, including classical singer Paul Potts, dance group Diversity, musician Tokio Myers, comedian Lost Voice Guy and superstar singer Susan Boyle. The last series winner was comedian Axel Blake.
