Blossoms announce five-night Manchester residency at iconic venues - how to get tickets including pre-sale

The schedule confirmed shows in towns and cities across the country, but none in Manchester. The closest gigs to the city were in either Liverpool or Stoke. 

However, Blossoms have come to the rescue of their Manchester fans with the announcement of a city-wide residency. They are playing across no fewer than five different venues. 

The band will play at five of the smaller venues across the city. These will be over consecutive days in November, and starts on November 19 at Manchester Academy. 

The other venues on this Manchester residency are O2 Ritz, Albert Hall, O2 Victoria Warehouse and O2 Apollo. Several support acts have been announced so far with Neon Waltz playing at O2 Ritz, The K’s at Victoria Warehouse and Lottery Winners at O2 Apollo. 

The announcement comes just days before Blossoms release their fifth studio album ‘Gary’. The full album comes out on Friday September 20, with several singles from the record already released. 

Blossoms have made a habit of making announcements with great videos. On this occasion, each of the band members called one another outside of the venues where they will be playing to ask ‘I’m at the venue, where are you?’. Technically, they were all correct.

How to get tickets to Blossoms gigs in Manchester

Tickets to the five night Manchester residency are available through pre-sale on Wednesday September 18. Fans can get access to these tickets by pre-ordering ‘Gary’ and a code will be sent to you for the window that opens at 9.30am. 

General sale then gets underway at 9.30am on Friday September 20 through Ticketmaster. You’ll be able to sit and listen to the new album whilst in the virtual queue, if that’s your thing.
