The festival offers three days of gigs across 13 popular Northern Quarter venues from Thursday to Saturday, October 10 to 12 and boasts an impressive line-up of more than 200 artists. Beyond the Music aims to provide a global platform for grassroots artists from a wide variety of genres, with a line-up curated by the likes of Audio North and BBC Introducing.
A three-day Beyond the Music conference will be held at Aviva Studios from Wednesday to Friday, October 9 to 12. Here, industry experts, artists, and politicians - including Greater Manchester’s Mayor Andy Burnham - will gather to discuss challenges in the music industry and how to overcome them.

The final line-up has now been confirmed, with more than 200 artists taking to the stage across the Northern Quarter. A quarter of this year’s line-up are North-West-based artists, with performances from the likes of soul and R&B singer [KSR] and genre-bending Yasmin Coe. The final line-up can be found here.
Conference speakers include multi-platinum selling artist Aitch, acclaimed singer-songwriter Rebecca Ferguson MBE, and chairman and CEO of Warner Music UK Tony Harlow.
Where can I buy tickets?
Festival tickets are available on Fatsoma, with the option to buy a three-day pass or individual day tickets. Discounted tickets are available for students and Blue Light Card holders. Music fanatics can also book a delegate pass through Factory International’s website, which gives them involvement in both the conference and festival.
How can I get to Beyond the Music 2024?
All festival venues are located in the Northern Quarter, a 10-minute walk from Piccadilly train station. The Northern Quarter is also only a five-minute walk from the Piccadilly Gardens tram stop and Piccadilly Gardens bus station. Route 2 of TfGM’s city centre free bus runs directly through the Northern Quarter.

Hide AdIn terms of accessing the day-time conferences at Aviva Studios, Salford Central station is less than half a mile from the venue, while Deansgate train station and the Deansgate-Castlefield tram stop are a 15-minute walk away. There are also 14 bus routes which pass close to Aviva Studios, and further information on them can be found on the Transport for Greater Manchester website.

Thursday and Friday’s festival events run from 6pm till 2am and Saturday’s events run from 2pm till 4am, including an afterparty with DJ Metrodome. The Aviva Studios conference runs on Wednesday from 3pm till 9.30pm, with an after-party at Everyman Cinema, Thursday 9.30am till 8pm, and Friday 9.30am till 7.15pm.
