Deep Purple announce =1 More Time’ UK tour including Manchester date - how to get tickets

Iconic rock band Deep Purple have been a huge name in music for decades. Forming back in 1967, the band are widely acknowledged to be pioneers of rock and psychedelic rock music.

In 2024, they are showing that they’ve no plans to bring their illustrious career to an end just yet. This comes as they announce a November 2024 UK tour, with a date at Manchester’s AO Arena pencilled in for Saturday November 9.

Fronted by the legendary Ian Gillan, whose vocals have defined generations and accompanied by the masterful bassist Roger Glover, the powerhouse drummer Ian Paice, the maestro on keyboards Don Airey, and the sensational guitarist Simon McBride, Deep Purple guarantees a musical journey like no other. Since joining the band in 2022, Simon McBride has already played to Deep Purple audiences totaling more than half a million people.

In a career spanning over 55 years, Deep Purple have given to the world no fewer than 22 studio albums and over 100 million sold. They really are a band that has withstood the test of time, and will no doubt bring a mix of tunes to audiences this winter. 

Hit songs ‘Hush’, ‘Black Night’, ‘Speed King’ ‘Fireball’ and ‘Smoke On The Water’ helped define heavy rock, riffs and all. They remain true to the band’s origins and their career which continues to thrive.

Presale tickets go on sale at 10am on Thursday March 21, you can sign up to the presale window by visiting AEG Presents. General sale will then get underway at 10am on Friday March 22 through Ticketmaster.
