The Mezz, a new bar and restaurant at Manchester’s AO Arena, has officially opened its doors. The VIP experience is part of a £50 million redevelopment of the venue, which also includes a capacity expansion.

Ahead of Niall Horan taking to the stage at the arena earlier this week, VIP guests took to the red carpet and enjoyed the full experience of what the new facility will have to offer fans. Some famous faces were amongst those in attendance, including former Westlife singer Brian McFadden and actor Jorgie Porter.

Guests of The Mezz can expect the very best in modern British cuisine, champagne, fine wines, signature cocktails and pre and post show entertainment. The restaurant also features a unique collaboration between Chefs Simon Rogan MBE and Tom Barnes - the first collaboration of its kind in any arena.

The Mezz is hoped by the venue to be a definitive upgrade to the VIP experience. The private members restaurant and bar also features a collaboration with multi Michelin starred Simon Rogan who has designed an exclusive dish for the menu.
