Lyndon Arthur will return to the ring against Liam Cameron looking to bounce back from just the second defeat of his career.

The popular Manchester light heavyweight was a massive underdog when he fought Russian great Dmitry Bivol for the WBA and IBO World titles in Saudi Arabia back in December. He lost a brave 12-round decision on a supercard that also featured Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.

The United fan returns back on home soil in Bolton and here’s everything you need to know including TV, streaming and ticket details.

Who is Lyndon Arthur?

Nicknamed ‘King’, the 33-year-old’s only other defeat came when he was stopped by Anthony Yarde in their big rematch back in 2021. Arthur had won the first fight though and the light heavyweight has an impressive 23-2 record as he looks to get back to winning ways. He is the cousin of fellow top Manchester fighter Zelfa Barrett and is trained by Pat Barrett.

Does Lyndon Arthur support Man Utd or Man City?

Arthur is a United fan, and more than that, is a good friend of Brandon Williams who spent last season on loan at promoted Ipswich and was released at the end of his Old Trafford contract this summer. He’s dreaming big too and has spoken in the past of his desire to fight at Old Trafford. He’s fought at the AO Arena several times in his career.

Who is Liam Cameron?

A victory for Cameron would be something of a fairytale comeback. The Sheffield fighter, who has a 23-5 record, has come back from a ban from the sport and problems with alcohol abuse to knock out both his last two opponents in the first round. He told the Sheffield Star: “Everybody knows what I have been through, but the struggle will be all worth it, when I cause a huge upset. This will be a life-changing night for me.”
