Predicted table forecasts shock Man Utd and Man City finishes after January transfers

Is this where Manchester City and Manchester United could finish when the Premier League season comes to a close?

The January transfer window has been surprisingly quiet for Manchester City and Manchester United.

City's main incoming business surrounded the signing of Argentina Under-23 star Claudio Echeverri after he agreed to join Pep Guardiola's squad before immediately returning to former club River Plate on loan for the remainder of the season.

There are no new faces in the United squad following the closure of the window but Erik ten Hag's ranks have been trimmed over the last month after the likes of Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Beek, Facundo Pellistri and Hannibal all made loan moves away from Old Trafford.

With the window now closed and any business on hold until the summer, both Guardiola and Ten Hog will focus on helping their side achieve their targets throughout the remainder of what has been a season of mixed emotions.

But where are City and United predicted to finish in the Premier League this season now their transfer business is concluded? We utilise statistics provided by FootballWP to see how the table could lie come the end of the campaign.
