Where three Manchester United and two Man City players rank in latest Golden Boy standings
There are three Man Utd players and two Manchester City stars on the shortlist to be crowned the 2024 Golden Boy.
Manchester United have three players in the current top 10 rankings to be named the 2024 Golden Boy, while Man City have two.

The Golden Boy award has been running since 2003, and is given to the most impressive young player playing in Europe over the past calendar year. All nominees for the award must be under the age of 21 and play in a European nation's top tier.
The award is voted for by a number of national newspapers with each juror allowed to nominate five players for the award. Over the course of the year the list will be reduced down to the final 20, before the final short list is revealed.
United youngsters Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho were both named on the initial shortlist back in June and have since been joined by summer signing Leny Yoro.
Barcelona and Spain starlet Lamine Yamal is the clear favourite for the award, while Paris Saint-Germain and Portugal ace Joao Neves is second on the list. Garnacho is currently third, with Yoro one place behind him. Mainoo remains in seventh place after his international exploits at the European Championship, while Man City signing Savio is sixth and Rico Lewis sits in tenth spot.
Three United players have won the award before with Wayne Rooney in 2004, Anderson in 2008 and Anthony Martial in 2016. From a City perspective, Erling Haaland, Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling all won the award before they joined the club, while Mario Balotelli won it in 2010, the year he moved to the Etihad.
