Manchester United had another night to forget at Old Trafford on Tuesday as the Red Devils were dumped out of the Champions League at the hands of Atletico Madrid.

The Spanish champions won 1-0 in their away leg after drawing in the reverse fixture at the Wanda Metropolitano, meaning Atletico advanced to the quarter-finals with a 2-1 aggregate win.

As a result, United now only have the race for the top four to occupy their thoughts over the final weeks of the season, with the Red Devils out of the FA Cup.

But supporters will have to wait quite a while before United get the opportunity to bounce back - it’s 18 days in fact, from that loss to Atletico, until Ralf Rangnick’s side are next in action.

The Red Devils were originally due to travel to Liverpool this weekend, but that game has been rearranged due to Jurgen Klopp’s men’s involvement in the FA Cup quarter-finals, where they face Nottingham Forest.

The following week is an international break, meaning United supporters once again don’t have a game to look forward to.
