Ugarte, Sancho & Sterling: Six Manchester United transfers that could still happen - gallery

It could be a busy final few days to the summer transfer window.

With two days left of the summer transfer market, Manchester United’s business is nearly at an end, but there could be a final few twists and turns still to come.

The Red Devils have secured the arrivals of Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui so far in what has been a busy window. United have made a conscious act to lower the average age of the squad, with 26-year-old Mazraoui the oldest addition so far.

At least one more signing is expected in the final days of the market, with Manuel Ugarte’s deal ending closer, while it remains a possibility that further arrivals are secured.

However, Manchester World understands there is no interest in pursuing deals for Ben Chilwell and Ivan Toney despite recent media reports.

He follows Raphael Varane, Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Willy Kambwala, Donny van de Beek and Facundo Pellistri as senior departures from United this window.

And more could follow. Jadon Sancho might have ironed out his differences with Erik ten Hag this summer, but the manager’s decision to leave him out of the squad in the opening two weeks of the Premier League season speaks volumes.

Scott McTominay’s departure to Napoli’s is also close and should be completed before the deadline. Here’s the latest on the remaining transfer deals involving United that could still be wrapped up…
