Two Manchester United loan exits planned after 'exciting' move for academy star
Manchester United still hope to send both Harry Amass and Dan Gore out on loan before deadline day of the January window.
Manchester World revealed at the start of the month United had prioritised exits for the two youngsters, and it remains the case as we enter the final week of the window. It is understood deals for Amass and Gore are the last two United are 'proactively' looking to secure in this window, while a couple of youngsters could leave if the right opportunity comes about.

Hide AdUnited want both Gore and Amass to gain valuable senior experience during the second half of the current campaign but are also mindful of securing the right deals, with guarantees over playing time and a tactical system that suits their respective styles of play.
Amass, 17, was a star of last summer's pre-season schedule under former manager Erik ten Hag but was not deemed physical enough to be given a chance in the Premier League. The teenage left-back has been named on the bench five times this season but is yet to make his competitive debut for the club. He is not been named in a senior matchday squad once since Ruben Amorim took charge in November. It is hoped an EFL loan move could be the ideal next step in his career progression as he looks to build upon his enormous technical ability and add the toughness that has rarely been required of him in youth-level football.
Gore, 20, is looking to make up for lost time after several injury setbacks last year that stunted his development. The young midfielder joined Port Vale on loan a year ago, but picked up an injury in his first match and never featured for them again. He then suffered a freak shoulder injury during the summer that caused him to miss the start of the current season and another separate injury that saw him sidelined again. It is understood he is attracting interest from the EFL and the Scottish Premiership. He has played twice for the United first-team since making his debut against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup last season, having also featured in the dying moments of a Premier League win over Aston Villa on Boxing Day in 2023.
United are not actively looking to send any other academy youngsters out on loan before deadline day next week, but aren't ruling out last-minute exits if the right opportunity arises. United have already sent five youngsters out on loan this month after Ethan Wheatley joined League Two leaders Walsall over the weekend. The record-breaking youngster, who became the 250th academy graduate in the club's history, has joined Joe Hugill, Ethan Ennis, Ethan Williams and Jack Kingdon in securing a temporary exit.
