'The window is open' - Ruben Amorim hints Manchester United could sell player he wants to keep
Man Utd will look at ways to raise valuable transfer funds in the January window.
Ruben Amorim refused to rule out a January exit for Joshua Zirkzee after Manchester United drew 2-2 with Liverpool at the weekend.

The Dutch forward was dropped from the starting line up after his humiliating withdrawal against Newcastle a week ago, but featured from the bench as United grabbed a deserved point at Anfield. Zirkzee almost helped United secure a famous win as well when he played the ball to Harry Maguire for a glorious opportunity in the final seconds of the match.
It has been a tough start to life for the 23-year-old, who has scored just four goals in 28 appearances since he joined from Bologna for a £36.5 million fee last summer. He was sarcastically cheered off in the home defeat to Newcastle last week but received a hero's reception from United's loyal away supporters when he featured against Liverpool.
Zirkzee has been heavily linked with a move to Juventus this month where he would reunite with former Bologna boss Thiago Motta, though it remains to be seen whether United would sanction the exit of a player they invested so heavily in during the summer. Amorim insists he would prefer to keep the Erik ten Hag signing if possible, but admitted anything can happen in a window where United are looking to sell players and raise precious transfer funds of their own.
“I want to keep Josh because he gives everything and he’s trying in training but we don’t know,” Amorim said after the draw with Liverpool. “The window is open and we will see what happens. We just need to focus on training and to take this for the other games. It’s just one point so let’s focus on the performance for the next games."
