'You could see' - Arne Slot gives exciting verdict on Manchester United under Ruben Amorim
Arne Slot was impressed with what he saw as Man Utd drew 2-2 with Liverpool FC in the Premier League on Sunday.
Arne Slot was impressed with the way Manchester United finished the match in their 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield and believes Ruben Amorim’s side are even better than they think they are.

United showed huge improvement from their performance levels in recent weeks and defended superbly in the first-half to keep the Premier League leaders at bay. They came out firing after the restart and took a deserved lead when Lisandro Martinez rifled a ferocious effort in off the underside of the crossbar.
The lead only lasted seven minutes though as Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah turned the game on its head before Amad Diallo continued his fine recent form with an equaliser. United could have even won the match right at the death when defender Harry Maguire sent an effort over the bar in the final seconds.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Slot insisted his side dominated the proceedings but admitted he was impressed with the manner in which United ended so strongly. "I think in the last 15 minutes you could see how well they could play, if they play, because in the first 75 they only had the ball long with Onana. In the last 15 minutes, when it was so open, you could see that they are even better than they maybe know themselves."
Quizzed on their tactical approach he added: "Mostly a low block they had, sometimes they pressed a bit higher. Normally I have seen them bring the ball out from the back more, today it was every time (Andre) Onana had the ball they didn't take the risk of build-up. So, we weren't surprised with anything they did because they played this style now for a few weeks. Maybe the only thing that was a bit different than other times is that they didn't do a lot of build-up, they mostly kicked the ball long."
