Manchester United were tipped to challenge for the Premier League title last summer after they splashed the cash on Jadon Sancho, Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane, while also relying on the likes of Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes.
A year on, United will be eager to forget what was one of their best campaigns in history as a large number of their players failed to impress.
Many of their most disappointing stars are already on their way out of Old Trafford or will face a battle to keep their place in the squad under Erik ten Hag.
