How each of the players that left Man Utd this season are getting on now

Erik ten Hag’s arrival at Manchester United in the summer has led to a dramatic overhaul of the squad. While the likes of Antony, Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez arrived at Old Trafford, another 16 players departed as the Dutchman looked to get rid of the ‘dead wood’ during the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils parted ways with a number of stars that had spent years at the club but were now surplus to requirements, whilst they also offloaded another eight players on loan as they look to develop their youngsters. United have been very good at giving their youth players a chance in previous seasons, with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay and Anthony Elanga making their mark on the first team.
We have taken a look at all 16 players that have left Old Trafford this season and how they are getting on with their new clubs...

1. Cristiano Ronaldo (Al Nassr)
After his Man Utd contract was terminated in November, Ronaldo joined Al Nassr and has unsurprisingly dominated the Saudi Pro League. The 38-year-old has netted nine goals in eight games and has picked up two assists.

2. Paul Pogba (Juventus)
Pogba returned to Juventus in the summer but his second spell with the club hasn’t gone as well as hoped. The midfielder has only made two appearances this season due to injury and rumours have circulated of Juve considering terminating his contract.

3. Nemanja Matic (AS Roma)
Matic joined Roma on a free transfer in the summer in what was his third reunion with Jose Mourinho. The midfielder has been in and out of the line-up, making 13 starts and another 13 appearances off the bench. His only goal for the Italian giants was a 94th minute equaliser against Torino in November.

4. Edinson Cavani (Valencia)
Cavani joined Valencia on a free transfer in the summer and has since scored five goals in 15 matches. The striker returned from from injury at the weekend after being sidelined for over a month.
