Manchester United are back in action this weekend following an extended winter break. Erik ten Hag's side head to Rodney Parade on Sunday for their FA Cup fourth round tie at League Two Newport County, just their third game in January.

The football has been quiet this month but off-pitch chatter has been aplenty, with United looking to offload a number of fringe youngsters on loan while also eyeing potential additions. And with just eight days left of the transfer window, ManchesterWorld has rounded up some of the latest headlines.

Double Saudi interest

Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr are eyeing up a surprise double swoop for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Casemiro, according to reports. The Daily Mail claim the club are looking to take advantage of United's desire to offload high earners, whether it be this month or in the summer.

United sporting director John Murtough has been in the region this season to build connections and explore the possibility of offloading players to the Middle East. The club are thought to be open to selling both Casemiro and Wan-Bissaka at the end of the season and hope to recoup a large portion of the combined £120million spent.

Inter Milan are thought to have made an offer to swap Wan-Bissaka with Denzel Dumfries this month but United have no plans to lose the right-back this month, with Ten Hag keen to keep cover for first-choice Diogo Dalot.

Greenwood's Barcelona move

Barcelona have emerged as a 'sensational' destination for Mason Greenwood in the summer. The Sun reports that Greenwood has been on Barca's radar all season, following his loan move to Getafe last year and subsequent form.

There is no permanent option in Greenwood's loan but United do want to sell the 22-year-old ahead of next season. The forward was suspended amid criminal charges of rape and assault that were dropped in February, but an internal investigation decided it would be best if he left the club.

Barcelona is said to be a 'dream' move for the forward and the report suggests that the only thing left to do is for the La Liga side to reach an agreement with United.
