Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr are reportedly set to bid for Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Al Nassr, who currently have the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Aymeric Laporte and Sadio Mane on their books, are believed to be interested in a new right-back and saw a £20m bid for Tottenham Hotspur’s Emerson Royal knocked back.

Now, they are ‘prepared to bid for Aaron Wan-Bissaka’, claim the Telegraph, although the outlet add that one of the club’s foreign stars would have to be deregistered if the United defender were to sign.

It comes less than 24 hours after Wan-Bissaka was linked with a move to Inter Milan, with reports suggesting United rejected a swap deal for Denzel Dumfries. Last week, the Manchester Evening News also claimed that West Ham United and Crystal Palace had enquired about the player’s availability.

Wan-Bissaka’s contract was extended by 12 months in December and it will now expire in June 2025. United employed the same approach with Victor Lindelof and Hannibal, although the latter has since joined Sevilla on loan.

While Wan-Bissaka has missed just three games this season that weren’t due to injury, the 26-year-old appears to have fallen behind Diogo Dalot in the pecking order. Erik ten Hag revealed after the recent draw against Tottenham Hotspur that the ex-Palace man was due to start on the bench, but a late injury to Luke Shaw saw him selected in an unorthodox left-back role.

Wan-Bissaka’s season has also been impacted by a hamstring injury which saw him miss the guts of two months, and he has made 17 appearances in all competitions this term.
