'He did really well' - Ruben Amorim praises one Manchester United player after Newcastle defeat
Ruben Amorim praised defender Harry Amass after he impressed on his full Manchester United debut against Newcastle on Sunday afternoon. The 18-year-old was one of five changes to the starting line up for the 4-1 defeat as Amorim prioritised the forthcoming Europa League quarter-final second leg against Lyon.
Amass only made his senior debut for the club last month and was rewarded with a first start at St. James' Park in place of January signing Patrick Dorgu. The teenager started the game well and played a key role in one of United's best attacks of the first half when he linked up with Alejandro Garnacho on the left.

Harry Amass did 'really well' on full debut
Speaking after the 4-1 defeat to Newcastle, Ruben Amorim did not initially spot any positives for his side but admitted he might take some encouragement from the performance when he analyses it in the coming days.
"It is really difficult to look at the best things," he said in his post-match press conference. "The best thing is to focus on the next one. Analyse this one, but it is really hard to be here after this result and try to see. Maybe in a few days I will watch the game and try to take that but in this moment it is really hard to have any feeling of a good feeling about the game."
When further pressed on the performance of youngster Amass, he didn't want to get carried away, but admitted the teenager had played well against one of the best sides in the Premier League.
