Man Utd face Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League on Thursday evening and here is the early team news.

Ruben Amorim could included a teenage defender in the Manchester United squad to face Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League amid an ongoing shortage of senior options at centre-back.

United are back in action when they face the Norwegian side at Old Trafford on Thursday night with teenage duo Jack Kingdon and Godwill Kukoni both in contention to be named on the bench for the match.

Kingdon, 19, and Kukoni, 16, were both left out of the Youth League side that lost 2-1 to AZ Alkmaar on Tuesday afternoon, unlike fellow youth defenders Harry Amass, Louis Jackson and Habeeb Ogunneye who all travelled to the Netherlands for the match.

Their potential involvement comes at a time when United could be without a number of senior defenders for the upcoming European clash. Leny Yoro is not yet match fit as he continues his rehabilitation from injury, while Harry Maguire is a long-term absentee. Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof both suffered injury setbacks during the international break and were not in the squad against Ipswich at the weekend.

Kingdon and Kukonki are not currently listed on the club's Europa League B List, but United have until midnight on Wednesday to register them for possible squad involvement against Bodo/Glimt. There should be a clearer indication of United's squad list for the match when they take part in an open training session at Carrington at 11am on Wednesday.
