The Manchester United home kit for the upcoming 2025/26 season has reportedly been leaked online ahead of its official release in the coming months. Footy Headlines brings details of the new kit design, while Öpaleak has also leaked initial images. Unsurprisingly, the new United home kit will be predominantly red, with white and black detailing across the design.
The leak suggests the next United home shirt will feature white and black detailing to both the collar and sleeve cuffs, while there will also be black lining down the sides. The design will be complemented by white shorts that feature the same black detailing and black socks.

Manchester United 25/26 home shirt to feature Old Trafford tribute
The new kit leaks suggest Manchester United will pay homage to Old Trafford with a couple of subtle design choices on their 2025/26 home shirt. It is claimed the sleeves will feature an ‘Old Trafford-inspired graphic’, which bears a rough resemblance to the iconic roof design.
It is also claimed Old Trafford’s famous nickname the ‘Theatres of Dreams’ will be printed on the collar of the shirt, in another subtle tribute to the club’s legendary home stadium. The report adds that the new home kit will be available in June, so it is unlikely to be worn on their post-season tour of Asia in May.

The proposed homage to Old Trafford comes a month after United announced plans to build a new 100,000-seater stadium that will become the biggest in the United Kingdom. Old Trafford has been United's home since 1910, but they could bid farewell to it in as little as five years if the new stadium proposals go according to plan.

It has been suggested that the stadium and wider regeneration project have the potential to deliver an additional £7.3bn per year to the UK economy and create 92,000 jobs. It is still not clear how the club plans to finance the build.
