Manchester United already have an idea of what they would like to do in the summer transfer window, though those plans could quickly change if they manage to win the Europa League. United originally budgeted for next season with the expectation they would not be involved in European football, but they will qualify for the Champions League if they defeat Tottenham in Bilbao later this month.
It has been estimated United would earn an extra £100 million in revenue from Champions League qualification, through a combination of prize money, television deals and the extra matchdays. It would also make United a more attractive prospect for potential signings and put less emphasis on player sales to raise their budget.
Here is a look at the most reliable transfer stories and the moves that could potentially happen in the summer transfer window.

5. Liam Delap
United identified Delap as their preferred striker target, though they will face strong competition for his signature. Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton have also been credited with interest in the forward, who has a £30 million release clause. | Getty Images

6. Viktor Gyokeres
United are interested in Gyokeres but once again face heavy competition to sign him. The Swede is not short of suitors and would likely only move to Old Trafford if they qualify for the Champions League. | AFP via Getty Images

7. Victor Osimhen
Osimhen is a player of interest to United, but there have been conflicting reports over his future. The Nigerian would be open to an Old Trafford move, but is more likely to move to Saudi Arabia. | Getty Images

8. Moise Kean
