The confirmed Man Utd team news for the FA Cup final against Manchester City this weekend.

Manchester United will be without Harry Maguire for the FA Cup final against Man City this weekend.

Maguire had initially been given a ‘fair chance’ of being ready in time for the Wembley showdown after he missed the final four Premier League matches of the season but has not recovered as quickly as the club were hoping for.

There was some good news on the injury front though, with Mason Mount, Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial all set to be available on Saturday afternoon if they are required.

Speaking at his press conference ahead of he match, Ten Hag told reporters: “Yeah, Harry Maguire is unavailable but for the rest, all of the players you mentioned are available. Tomorrow final training and we make final decisions but the way I see it now it looks good (that Mount, Lindelof and Martial are available). Maguire? It (the injury) didn't heal as expected.”

Mount has missed the last three matches due to injury but was pictured back in training in midweek ahead of the Wembley showdown. Lindelof and Martial were both also pictured in training after their recent fitness issues but Luke Shaw will not be involved after he suffered a setback in his rehabilitation from injury.

It means United could have all but one centre-back fit for their Wembley showdown, with Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane the most likely defensive pairing.
