Maguire, 31, started for United during their midweek draw with FC Twente in the Europa League but has not been named in the squad to face Tottenham after he suffered a knock in training during the week.
Maguire adds to United’s defensive injury list, with Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Leny Yoro also sidelined. There was at least some positive news for the clash though, with defender Victor Lindelof named on the bench for the first time this season.
