Manchester United stars set for pre-season training return
Man Utd will welcome some more senior stars back to pre-season training on Thursday.
Manchester United will welcome their international stars back for pre-season training on Thursday morning.

The first group of United players reported for their initial pre-season tests at the start of the week, with a staggered return for those who have been recently involved in international duty. Those who have already been at Carrington this week have taken part in light training sessions, with a focus on their tactical work under Ruben Amorim ahead of the summer schedule. The players also underwent routine medical examinations, including vision and dental checks to ensure every base was covered.
A total of fifteen senior players reported for pre-season training at the start of the week, including summer signings Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon. It was also revealed Marcus Rashford chose to attend the club training complex to undergo an individual training programme despite the fact he had been granted an extended leave by the club to facilitate a summer exit.
Who could return to training today
Manchester United will welcome back another group of international stars to their training base today, as preparations step up ahead of their first summer friendly against Leeds next week. Ruben Amorim's side then travel to the United States to face West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton in the Premier League Summer Series before they host Fiorentina in a final home friendly at Old Trafford.
United granted Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot extended leave after they both attended the funeral of Diogo Jota last weekend, though the Portuguese duo were not due back until today anyway. It is understood the decision will be down to the duo over when they feel ready to return to training.
Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro, and Rasmus Hojlund are among the others who could be back at Carrington on Thursday morning, along with Manuel Ugarte and Patrick Dorgu. Teenage duo Chido Obi and Sekou Kone are both also expected back as they hope to catch the eye of Amorim during the pre-season schedule.
Alejandro Garnahco, Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia and Antony have all also been granted additional time off to work on potential summer exits, but like Marcus Rashford, they are welcome to use the gym and medical facilities at Carrington if they wish.
