The identity of Manchester United’s next manager may still be up in the air, but when the new man is appointed, one of his first jobs will be deciding who from the current squad he wants to keep or sell.

Some of those decisions could be made for him, with several players’ deals set to expire at the end of the season, including stars Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani.

However, United currently have 38 players listed in their first-team squad, including Mason Greenwood, who remains suspended by the club, meaning at the time of writing there are decisions to be made on 37 players.

Of those, 10 are currently on loan and their futures are very uncertain as they return to Old Trafford.

In addition, there are concerns about what to do with some of the older members of the squad such as David De Gea, Phil Jones and Nemanja Matic, while the majority of this group have underperformed this term.

Rumours and reports continue to link a plethora of United players with moves away, with Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford among those.

The new manager has a huge task on his hands, and we’ve taken a look through all 37 players and given our view on what United should do to get back on track...
