Manchester United 25-man squad for Rosenborg fixture revealed as six stars missing
Man Utd begin their pre-season schedule against Norwegian side Rosenborg on Monday evening.
Manchester United are back in action when they face Rosenborg in their first pre-season fixture this evening.
Erik ten Hag's side will begin their preparation for the new campaign with the friendly fixture in Norway and a host of youngsters are set to be involved in the match.
Those involved in international tournaments this summer are still enjoying time-off after their respective contributions, while forward Jadon Sancho is still doing fitness work after he delayed return to first-team training last week. Andre Onana, Victor Lindelof, Amad Diallo and Antony have also been given a few days to work on their fitness work at the club's Carrington training complex but are likely to be involved when they face Rangers in Edinburgh this weekend.
United will face Arsenal, Real Betis and Liverpool during their tour of the United States before the Community Shield clash against Manchester City next month.
There will still be a few stars to watch tonight though, with Casemiro, Marcus Rashford and Mason Mount all included in the 25-man squad, but the first pre-season outing will more so be an opportunity for talented teenagers like Ethan Williams, Harry Amass and Jack Fletcher to catch the eye.
