Manchester United 'reject' loan offer for midfielder on transfer deadline day

Manchester United have reportedly rejected an offer for a midfielder on deadline day of the January transfer window. It is set to be a busy day at Old Trafford, as head coach Ruben Amorim looks to take advantage of his final opportunity to improve the squad.
United have already unveiled the signings of both Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven and hope to add a forward to their squad in the final hours of the window. Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel was viewed as the most likely addition, though there are financial complications which now make a move seem unlikely.

United prioritised a loan move for Amass this window and are not actively looking to send any other academy players out for the remainder of the season.
United 'reject' loan bid for midfielder
United have reportedly rejected a loan offer for teenage midfielder Ruben Curley on deadline day. Football Insider claim Championship side Stoke City expressed an interest in signing the 19-year-old, but the player is set to remain at Old Trafford for the second half of the season.
Curley is out of contract at the end of the season, though Unite have the option to extend his deal. The midfielder has featured seven times in the Premier League 2 this season, as well as making one appearance in the EFL Trophy. Stoke are 18th in the Championship table and eager to reinforce their ranks in the final hours of the window.
United could complete three deals today
United are expected to complete three deals on deadline day of the January transfer window. United are in talks to add Bayern Munich forward Tel before tonight's deadline, while Chelsea ace Christopher Nkunku is another option available to them in their search for a new forward. Amorim deployed Kobbie Mainoo as a false nine in their weekend defeat to Crystal Palace in what was a clear indication of his lack of faith in those already at the club.
