Barcelona are still planning to sell Frenkie de Jong even though they’ve recieved a financial boost.

That’s according to COPE, who say Barca still plan to offload the Dutchman despite agreeing a key deal to bolster their bank balance.

Barca’s members have voted to sell half of the club’s merchandising division and 25% of the club’s future broadcasting rights in a bid to raise more than £500million.

But in a boost for United. it’s claimed de Jong is still on the chopping block.

Eriksen update

United said to be still awaiting a response from Brentford star Christian Eriksen.

Eriksen is available on a free transfer this summer, with his Brentford deal up at the end of this month, and the Red Devils are said to have made a proposal.

According to Sam Pilger, United are still waiting for a response from the midfielder amid interest from the likes of Tottenham.

Vitinha race

United are said to be leading the race to sign Porto star Vitinha this summer.

It emerged earlier this week that the Red Devils were among a cluster of Premier League sides chasing the young Portugal star’s signature.

According to Record, via SportWitness, it is United who are winning the race to complete a deal, with the asking price said to be around £34million.
