Bayern Munich winger Jamal Musiala is a ‘target’ for United, as detailed in a report by the Daily Mail. He is also on the radar of rivals Manchester City and Real Madrid.
In this latest update regarding contract talks with the attacker, Bayern director Max Eberl has told Sport1: “It's difficult, but not impossible – as Jamal knows what he has at Bayern Munich. He grew up here and has brought himself to this level. Talks are intensifying. We are extremely ambitious and he knows that he wants to win titles.”
The player said earlier this summer: “I am very happy at FC Bayern and fully focused on our goals with the club and the national team. I don't think too much about where I will be playing in five years. Things can always change quickly in the world of football.”
Musiala, who is 21-years-old, is a Germany international with 34 caps under his belt already so far in his career. He has been on the books of his current club in the Bundesliga since 2019 after spells in England at Southampton and Chelsea and has scored 43 goals in 163 games.

Midfielder wanted
United are ‘long-term admirers’ of Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka along with top flight rivals West Ham, according to a report by The Sun. He is said to be considering his future at the Allianz Arena ahead of the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old still has a couple of years left on his contract so it would require a transfer fee to land him at this stage. He played for Bochum and Schalke as a youngster before moving to his current club in 2018.
Goretzka, who is from Bochum, has since been a regular in the middle of the park for Bayern and has also picked up 57 caps for Germany. He has won the Bundesliga title five times and has also got his hands on the Champions League once.
