Why Manchester United have named an unchanged XI vs Burnley

The only change to the United squad sees Mason Mount return to the bench with academy defender Habeeb Ogunneye missing out from the final matchday side. Scott McTominay overcame a late fitness test to feature from the bench against Sheffield United in midweek but has not been deemed fit enough to start today.
Speaking ahead of the match, the United manager explained his selection for the clash: “That’s one of the reasons why we stay the same, to bring those routines in,” he told MUTV ahead of kick-off.
“But also we have to take an eye on the load of the players. Scott McTominay is not fit for 90 minutes. Definitely can play for a half or 30 minutes, but we have to manage the game load.”
