Manchester United are prepared to allow teenage winger Ethan Williams to leave the club on loan in the January transfer window.
The 19-year-old played an instrumental role as the U18s won a historic treble last season and has continued his upward trajectory with four goals and two assists in just nine appearances so far this campaign.

Manchester World understands a few EFL clubs have already registered loan inquiries for the winger and that United have not ruled out allowing him to leave the club for the remainder of the season.
It is understood League One side Stockport County are one of the clubs to have registered an initial interest in taking Williams on loan as they consider their options to replace star forward Louie Barry. The 21-year-old scored 15 goals in 23 appearances before he was recalled by parent club Aston Villa earlier this month.
Williams was one of three United youngsters who was invited to train with FC Lausanne-Sport last year. As part of the agreement with the Swiss club, who are also owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, he alongside youth teammates Habeeb Ogunneye and Jack Kingdon were given a taste of a first-team environment to help with their development.
Williams featured for United during the early stages of pre-season last summer but did not make Erik ten Hag’s final tour squad for the US. United are prioritising loan exits for Harry Amass and Dan Gore this month, while fellow forwards Joe Hugill and Ethan Wheatley could also leave.
