Hide AdUnited travelled down to London by train on Friday afternoon, with Maguire the notable inclusion in a squad that looks to be without three senior defenders for the Wembley showdown.
Earlier in the week, Erik ten Hag confirmed four defenders were at risk of missing the match with Man City and it looks like three of them have been unable to return in time for the curtain-raiser.
Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof were not spotted as part of the 21-man squad which made the journey to London, with teenager Harry Amass in line to start the Manchester derby encounter after an encouraging pre-season campaign.

Hide AdUnited look to be boosted by the return of a number of international stars though, with Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho all seen boarding the train.
There could even be a debut for summer signing Joshua Zirkzee, though he is more likely to feature from the bench at Wembley having only trained a couple of times with his teammates since he returned from a break following the European Championship.
It means Ten Hag could look to deploy a false nine against City just as he did in the FA Cup final success, with Fernandes, Amad Daillo and Jadon Sancho three candidates for the role.
