All 21 Man Utd players spotted in training gallery ahead of Wolves with teenage star to return

There 21 outfield players seen in Manchester United training on Wednesday, with the goalkeepers working separately.

Manchester United released their latest batch of training images on Wednesday evening ahead of the Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.

In-form Wolves, who beat fellow West Midlands side Aston Villa last week, head to Old Trafford for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday. Julen Lopetegui’s side don’t have a huge amount to play for as they’ve distanced themselves from the relegation scrap, while United need every point they can muster in the race for top four.

Erik ten Hag will be boosted by a full week off to prepare for the game, and it’s the first midweek where United haven’t had a match since the World Cup, due to their cup commitments. The Red Devils manager will hope his squad are feeling fresher as a result and, against Wolves, he could give Alejandro Garnacho his first minutes in nearly two months.

The teenage winger returned to the bench last week following an ankle injury but was an unused substitute in the loss to West Ham United. Asked post-match why he didn’t bring Garnacho on at the London Stadium, Ten Hag said: “He was on the bench, then, of course, he is capable of playing.

“But we also had other options with [Anthony] Martial, with Jadon Sancho, with [Marcel] Sabitzer, offensive and fit – very fit – players are there and present, then you have to play them. But in one week, you have to see, it’s one week extra and he is brave, he can make a difference, yeah.”

Garnacho was among the 21 outfield players spotted in United’s latest training gallery, which didn’t feature any surprise omissions other than the club’s current injured players: Tom Heaton, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek.

Here’s who was seen in Wednesday’s training session…
