Manchester United will face Chelsea at a sold out Wembley in the Women’s FA Cup Final later today hoping to lift their first major trophy.

This weekend will mark Manchester United’s very first visit to Wembley Stadium as they take on Chelsea in the Women’s FA Cup Final.

Marc Skinner’s side will head into the game full of confidence following an impressive six game winning streak, though Emma Hayes’ Chelsea side will feel equally as positive after wracking up big back to back wins - a 6-0 and 7-0 win respectively - over the last week.

With tickets completely sold out, an electric atmosphere is expected at the home of English football though only 8,000 Manchester United fans will be in attendance after being handed a paltry allocation by the Football Association.

The allocations came under critisism from Manchester United themselves with head coach Skinner telling ManchesterWorld earlier in the month he couldn’t understand why so few tickets had been offered to fans of the competing clubs.

“To give clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea just 8,000 tickets to sell it’s just...crazy, in my opinion” the United head coach told us.

“I don’t know how many they give to fans of the men’s team. I don’t know how it works in all honesty, I haven’t really looked into it but to give two massive clubs 8,000 tickets is, as I say, crazy - that is as simple as I can put it.” he added.

Red Devils boss Marc Skinner has almost a full squad available to him with only Maria Thorisdottir unavailable.

January signing Lisa Naalsund was fit enough to make the bench last week after her recovery from a muscle injury and has a chance of making the matchday squad. Katie Zelem returns from suspension after missing last week’s WSL win over Tottenham Hotspur and is expected to lead her side out.
