It has been a good week for Manchester United, who have managed to progress to the Carabao Cup final the FA Cup fifth round.

Erik ten Hag’s men are now gearing up for a Premier League clash with Crystal Palace as they look to solidify their spot in the top four, and new signing Marcel Sabitzer will be looking to make his debut. New signings will help, in particular, because United are now in the midst of a relentless schedule as they compete across four competitions.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Old Trafford.

Osimhen latest

United are now said to be concentrating on the summer signing of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

ESPN say Osimhen has now been moved up to the top of United’s summer shortlist, with the striker impressing for Napoli again this season. It’s likely Napoli will demand at least £90million this summer, but there is no doubting that the Red Devils will need a new frontman. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be keen on a deal.

It will be interesting to see whether a bidding war ensues this summer, and indeed whether United are willing to pay big to solve their striker issue.

Pavard opportunity

United could have the opportunity to land Bayern Munich star Benjamin Pavard on the cheap this summer.

Accrding to the Sun. Pavard is likely to be on the move this summer after Bayern’s signing of Manchester City star Joao Cancelo on a loan deal with the option to buy. Pavard could now be available for just £26.8million, and United may well strengthen at right-back.

Pavard is still only 26 years of age, too, making him a very attractive target for United, and likely others this summer.
