Manchester United are now putting the final touches on their preparations ahead of facing Tottenham on Thursday night. The Red Devils took a break from Premier League action last weekend, booking a spot in the FA Cup final, but things still went their way, with Tottenham suffering a heavy defeat to Newcastle.

That result means United can now all-but wrap up the top four race with a win over Spurs on Thursday, already six points better off than their next opponents, and with a game in-hand. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding Old Trafford.

Kane claim

United continue to be linked with a move for Tottenham star Harry Kane this summer. The latest report suggests there could be a new price tag for Kane despite the fact it has been reported Tottenham could charge as much as £100million should a Premier League club make an approach.

According to Football Insider, United could get hold of Kane for £15million less this summer, with £85million the price suggested. But that fee would come with add-ons on top. Still, it would work out significantly cheaper than a deal to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli this summer.

Kane limit

Elsewhere on the Kane front, the Daily Star are claiming United could walk away from Kane. It’s claimed the Red Devils are reluctant to get into a bidding war over Kane, and they are only willing to pay up to £80million to sign the England international.

The ball will then be in the court of Daniel Levy and Tottenham, who face losing Kane for nothing in just over a year, should Kane refuse to sign a new contract as expected. In that sense, United hold a slight advantage, but they could be put off if other clubs come to the table with bigger offers.
