Manchester United are now getting to work on their summer plans as they prepare for the new season.

Erik ten Hag enjoyed a relatively successful first season at Old Trafford, winning a League Cup and improving the team from a rather disastrous season before, with the Dutchman joining the club under tough circumstances. But with improvements come raised expectations, and Ten Hag knows he must continue to raise the bar going into next season.

As United search for new signings this summer, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding Old Trafford.

Min-jae latest

United look as though they have won the race to sign Napoli defender Kim Min-jae.

According to Il Mattino, Min-Jae has already accepted a United offer and will join the club on July 1 when the Red Devils pay the player’s 60 million euro release clause. Despite that, the report claims there is competition from other clubs for the signature of the centre-backs, with other clubs still able to make a move to pay the release clause, potentially forcing Min-Jae into a decision.

But it seems United are already well on their way to winning as they reportedly look to replace Harry Maguire.

Diaby links

Elsewhere, it’s being claimed United could move on from winger Jadon Sancho this summer.

According to Daily Mail, the Red Devils are interested in snapping up Bayer Leverkusen star Moussa Diaby this summer to replace Sancho. Diaby has emerged as a target for Newcastle United this summer, but the Magpies now look likely to have a restricted budget due to FFP, with Diaby likely to cost around £65milion.

If United wind up bringing in £50million as reported, Diaby will be very affordable at that price, and he is an attractive option having scored 14 and assisted 11 across all competitions in the season just gone.
