Manchester United are in a better position right now. They have won two of their last three games, including a 2-0 win against Sunderland before the international break. Ruben Amorim’s side showed signs of improvement, easing the pressure on the Red Devils’ manager.
They play against Liverpool after the international break, which should be a tough game. However, the Reds have lost their last three games in all competitions and are looking disjointed under Arne Slot. Their biggest weakness seems to be in defence, and so Amorim will look to exploit that with some of his attacking talents.
Mason Mount was the star against Sunderland, and could be in line for a start again, but if he were to start, one of Bryan Mbeumo or Matheus Cunha would need to be benched in Amorim’s 3-4-3 formation.
