Man Utd predicted line-up vs Sevilla with decisions on Marcus Rashford & Anthony Martial - gallery

There could be three changes from the Manchester United team which started at the weekend.

Erik ten Hag will hope to have Marcus Rashford available for Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final first leg against Sevilla.

The attacker was replaced in the latter stages of Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Everton at the weekend  with what appeared to be a groin injury. Speaking after the game, Ten Hag wouldn’t reveal what sort of injury United’s no.10 had suffered. “I can’t say in this moment,” said the Dutchman.

“We have to wait how had or how good it is. Obviously, he went off and we have to wait for the diagnosis and we will see.”

Meanwhile, the Mirror have reported that United ‘will not gamble’ on Rashford’s fitness. “United are not willing to rush Rashford back and risk losing him for a longer period at such a crucial stage of the season,” the outlet claim.

Should the England international miss out, it’s likely that Jadon Sancho and Antony will start out wide, with either Anthony Martial or Wout Weghorst expected to play through the middle. Ten Hag said recently that Martial is not fit to start matches at present, but the 30 minutes he got in his legs at the weekend may have altered the United manager’s thinking.

Luke Shaw is another fitness doubt and missed the win over Everton. The former Southampton man is not expected to be back for the clash with Sevilla, with Tyrell Malacia likely to play in his absence.

Casemiro is available once again - both domestically and in Europe - although he and Bruno Fernandes will both miss the second leg if they pick up bookings at Old Trafford on Thursday.
