Manchester United reportedly want to keep hold of Victor Lindelof this summer. The centre-back is facing an uncertain long-term future at Old Trafford.
According to The Sun, the Sweden international is set to be ‘offered’ fresh terms to extend his contract. His current deal expires in June 2024 meaning Erik ten Hag risks losing him on a free transfer in 12 months if nothing changes regarding his situation.

Lindelof, who has made 58 caps for his country, started his career at Västerås SK before Benfica lured him over to Portugal as a youngster in 2012. He initially played for the B team of the Portuguese giants before breaking into their first-team.
He went on to feature in 73 matches for the Primeira Liga giants and helped them win the league title on three occasions during his time there. The Red Devils then brought him to England and he has been with the North West outfit since then.
It is a big summer ahead at United as they prepare for Ten Hag’s second year in charge. The Dutchman endured a tricky start to life in England but soon steadied the ship, guiding the club back into the Champions League and winning the Carabao Cup as well.
