Erik ten Hag has had a busy summer transfer window but isn’t done yet, despite the Premier League season opener arriving this weekend.

The start of the Premier League season is just around the corner with an enticing season opener against Wolves coming up at Old Trafford this weekend.

Red Devils fans are likely to get the chance to see new summer signings Andre Onana and Mason Mount in competitive action for the first time but will be hoping for more incomings before the window closes.

Here's your Thursday evening Manchester United transfer round-up.

Turkey clubs struggle to hit Man Utd demands for Fred

Manchester United midfielder Fred is edging closer to completing a move to Turkey after 'concrete' interest from two clubs in the country.

Both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have submitted bids for the star, with Metro reporting that the former's offer has already been rejected. Fenerbahce seem closer to completing a deal for the 30-year-old but have fallen short of the Red Devils' asking price.

Manchester United are open to letting Fred leave Old Trafford for £20 million but Fenerbahce have so far only been able to cough up £13 million for the Brazilian.

Closer to home, Fulham are also believed to be interested in the midfielder's services with Manchester United looking to offload stars before recruiting a midfielder and a centre-back to their side this transfer window.

Nice centre-back at top of four-man shortlist

Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo appears to be a frontrunner from the options being looked at by Manchester United to replace West Ham-bound Harry Maguire.

Todibo is believed to be one of four options on the Red Devils' shortlist and The Mirror reports that Manchester United have opened talks with the 23-year-old's club over a deal.

Todio has been linked with a move to Newcastle United this summer as Eddie Howe also looks to recruit at centre-back, but nothing serious has materialised in the North East - where Todibo visited with Nice to play in the Sela cup earlier this month. According to reports online, the Ligue 1 star is worth between £15 and £25 million.

Newcastle United are still to land their man in the centre-back role, so could rival Manchester United for a deal, with any club's progress potentially being impacted by how quickly they can offload stars before bringing new men in.
