Manchester United are back in action on Monday evening against rivals Liverpool.

The Red Devils have lost their opening two games of the new season against Brighton and Hove Albion and Brentford respectively.

Erik ten Hag is in the hunt for his first win to avoid pressure mounting on him already.

Here is a look at the latest news coming out of the club today...

Midfielder wanted

Scott McTominay is being linked with a move away.

The midfielder has risen up through the academy at Old Trafford and has made 172 appearances in all competitions to date, chipping in with 16 goals.

According to 90min, West Ham United, Newcastle United, Southampton and Everton are keen on him, as well as clubs in Germany and Italy.

New goalkeeper mentioned

It is no secret that United are in the hunt for a back-up goalkeeper to compete with David de Gea.

The club let Dean Henderson head out on loan to fellow Premier League side Nottingham Forest earlier this summer.

Benfica stopper Odysseas Vlachodīmos has emerged on ten Hag’s ‘list’ of potential options, according to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter (see below):

Forward on trial

United are reportedly taking a look at young Exeter-born forward Ollie Bray.

The teenager currently plays for Willand Rovers in the Southern Football League.

He is on ‘trial’ with the top flight giants and has been for the past two weeks, as reported by the Manchester Evening News, and has been playing with the U21s team.
