Man Utd, Man City and Liverpool surprise positions in Premier League table with no VAR

Manchester United picked up an impressive point at Anfield, but how do the Red Devils fare in a table without VAR intervention?

VAR took a backseat in Manchester United's gutsy point at Anfield last weekend, despite protestations from Liverpool players at multiple moments as Jurgen Klopp's misfiring side struggled to break down the Red Devils.

The Reds felt they should have had a penalty for a Luke Shaw handball from a Kostas Tsimikas cross in the 84th minute and for Sofyan Amrabat's coming together with Luis Diaz just seven minutes prior. Referee Michael Oliver didn't award either as a penalty and, after checking the incidents, VAR backed up those calls.

It was refreshing to see a big match finish without the VAR controversy that has become par for the Premier League course this season, but that is a rarity for Manchester United. ManchesterWorld looks at what the Premier League table would look like without VAR.
