England international on radar

United are monitoring Mason Mount’s contract situation at Chelsea as they weigh up a potential future swoop. According to LondonWorld, they are keeping a ‘close eye’ on the England international along with rivals Liverpool with his current deal at Stamford Bridge expiring in the summer of 2024.

Mount, 24, was part of Gareth Southgate’s England squad at the World Cup in Qatar earlier this winter. He has been with his current club for his whole career to date and has made 190 appearances in all competitions, chipping in with 33, as well as having loan spells away at Vitesse and Derby County.

Goalkeeper linked

The Red Devils are being linked with a move for Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou via a report by TEAMtalk. Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest in the Moroccan stopper.

The 31-year-old could be seen as a possible replacement for David de Gea, who is out of contract at the end of this season and is still yet to sign a new deal. Bounou has played 19 games in La Liga so far in this campaign.
